Blanc Lecture

707 Spring St. Santa Cruz CA

January 2, 2014

5 p.m.-7 p.m.

A salon style gathering in California brought together professors and public to learn about recent French ideas in the cross-over field of environmental art. Presenting a lecture on Art and the Environment, Ms. Blanc enraptured a small crowd for the SPARC (Social Public Art Research Center) of University California at Santa Cruz with her recent ideas on interdisciplinary dialogues on the environment. The work of Helen and Newton Harrison (in attendance), as well as the SS Palo Alto Project, were discussed amongst the lively group of artists, educators, engineers, and scientists.
